Magic Carpet Theatre has had the privilege of serving children throughout Michigan since 1991 delighting them, inspiring them, and touching their hearts. The combination of fabulous literature and our creative style of theatre appeals to the young at heart of all ages.

Magic Carpet assemblies present excellent literature in an interactive reader’s theatre style. It’s amazing how much magic can happen with three dynamic performers and a bag of books. Theatre in its most basic form: performer, audience, and text actually require imagination from our audience as well as our creative staff. Workshops help children learn how to use their imaginations and apply them to reading and writing.

Imagination is the key to Magic Carpet Theatre, inspiring young readers and writers for twenty years. Children listen to our stories with their hearts, howl from their guts, and participate creatively with their hands and minds.
